Our Junior Rangers have been intrigued by owl pellets. Owls swallow their prey while but can't digest fur and bone so they regurgitate a pellet once a day (it's not poo, it doesn't go near that end!) if we dissect the pellet we can see what the owl has eaten which gives us great information on food chains and biodiversity.
