The latest creature captured foraging in the Deadwater Valley Local Nature Reserve is this Yellow-Necked Mouse, Britain's rarest mouse! Their habitat is restricted to southern England and Wales, so this is a lucky find. They are omnivores, and will feed on seedlings, leaf buds, fruit, nuts, insects, larvae and spiders.

Many thanks to Digitalwildlife.co.uk for the footage.

Please see events page for information on parking

when visiting the Inclosures by car
